This marvelous and beautiful society was established on July 1997 in MELAKA. It carries the great honor of the first student societies formed in UNITELE (University Telekom).
ICS in Cberjaya campus was formed when it was open in 1999 and has come around successfully with more than 200 members when it was launched the very first time. This number has increased from year to year. Mr David Asirvatham are the advisors of Indian Cultural Society and the 1-st president of ICS in Cyberjaya campus is Mr.Prabaharan Sukumaran. ICS membership is open as it practices the etiquette of peace and harmony. Moreover it has reached a great set of achievements through many social, welfare and cultural programs.
The entire committee of the Indian Cultural Society moves with the spirit of fulfilling certain objectives which are as per stated below:-
- To further enhance the Students Education Fund of Multimedia University
- To nurture the spirit of working together cooperatively as one big family
- To provide the members with good exposure on aspects of leadership qualities.
- To establish the image of the Indian Cultural Society altogether in high profile of Multimedia University.
- To rekindle the spirit and culture of Indian’s among the Multimedia University students.
